Sanderson produced a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to Carolina.

Scouting Report

The son of former NHL speedster and scoring winger Geoff Sanderson, he comes complete with tremendous pedigree and family genes. While not as top-end fast as his father, he is a very smooth skater with excellent mobility from the back end. He also features great hockey IQ and a low-maintenance approach to the game. Can be used in all game situations and is a true minute muncher. While he does have some ability to produce points, he is not a game-breaking offensive talent from the back end. Still a bit raw, he has a very projectable frame but will need to add more bulk and get stronger physically for the NHL.

Long Range Potential: Quality, big-minute defenseman with upside.
